A touching tale emerges when a young boy unwraps a pair of beautifully hand-knitted sneakers crafted by his beloved grandmother. Unable to splurge on the trendy footwear, he was disheartened until his grandma stepped in with her knitting needles and love.
Who has ever told you, "I have got you," and really kept that promise? Well, for this young man, it's none other than his grandma. In a viral video on the internet, a man is seen flaunting the sneakers his grandma knit for him, as he couldn't afford the original branded ones himself.
In a video shared on the Instagram page Red Room, the videographer is seen surprisingly spotting a young man wearing sneakers similar to the Air Mag. But what leaves him surprised is when the young guy shares that they are not the original ones but a hand-knit replica made by his grandma.
“Yeah, check these, man; my grandmom hand-knit these. I told her I couldn’t afford the original Air Mag, so please do your thing. She said, ‘I got you.' So now I have been rocking these for a couple of days," he says in the video.
From the Nike logo to the perfect fit, the grandma's work is surely top-notch.
Interestingly, as the video went viral, the same young guy commented on it. A user named Justin Ferreira said that he is the man in the video and added that his grandma is truly the GOAT.
The comment box is full of users sharing that their sneakers are more valuable than the original ones.
