There are around 3000 species of snake recorded across the world; around 85% of these snakes are non-venomous. Only 600 species of snakes are venomous but only 200 of them can seriously harm humans. Snakes help farmers by controlling rodent populations, protecting crops from loss and disease spread. Due to ancient fables snakes are vilified yet they are protecting us ecologically.

2. Bats

Out of 1400+ bat species, only 3 species of bat drink blood and even they prefer livestock not humans. One bat can eat up to 3000 mosquitoes in a night ultimately reducing diseases like malaria and dengue. Human myths painted them as scary creatures but they are gentle and avoid human contact reason, maybe they consider us scary, who knows.

3. Sharks

An unbelievable fact is, humans kill 100 million sharks per year while sharks only kill 5-6 humans on average. Even most of their attacks are cases of mistaken identity like people using surfboards are look like seals from below and they attack. They maintain ocean balance by eating weak and sick fish. Movies and media exaggerate their aggression but in reality they avoid humans.

4. Wolves

Wolves are highly social animals with strong family bonds. They avoid human contact and very rarely attack unless they are provoked. Fairy tales like "Little Red Riding Hood" created their image of danger.
