In this article, we will explore some of the animals that are absolutely brutal in reality even though they are considered as “cute” in popular narratives.
Even though this guy looks “cute” and “peaceful”, he is one of the most venomous mammals that we know. They produce a toxin in the brachial gland that is present on their elbows. When threatened, what it does is, take this venom into the mouth and mix it with saliva. Once this toxin enters our body death can happen by anaphylactic shock. Some people may not die but will experience a sudden drop in blood pressure, muscle seizures and shock. In fact, slow Loris will also rub or lick its hair with the poisonous mixture to avoid predators.
Portrayed as teddy bears in children’s cartoons, this animal is deadly when it comes to one-on-one combat. They are also shortlisted among the group of animals that kill and hunt human beings. Even though polar bears and grizzlies are considered as the most deadly, all huge species of bears can become very dangerous.
The extravagant colour of this frog might catch your eyes. But it is also a subtle from nature to stay away. This frog is considered as one of the most poisonous creatures in the world. A single, small frog carries within it enough poison to kill ten human beings. Indeed, if a predators eats this creature, the venom can quickly enter into its nervous system, resulting in convulsions and death.
Similar to bears, elephants also have a mythical status in popular narratives. But it can turn wild very quickly and can create massive destructions. If disturbed or abused or even if you just encounter it in the wild, the elephant can literally transform into one of the most dangerous creatures on earth.
