Spiritual Significance of Bagalamukhi Jayanti 2026


Baglamukhi Devi is considered as the destroyer of demons and as the saviour of sincere devotees from all kinds of evil spirits, black magic and evil eye. The Goddess is called Pitambara Mata as we will be able to see her wearing yellow bangles and yellow clothes. Spiritual leaders say that the Devi’s blessings will manifest in our lives in the form of an invisible, divine shield protecting us from negativities and enemies. Being one of the most ferocious forms of Goddess Durga, Bagalamukhi Devi should be worshipped with utmost reverence and sincerity.

Devotees should take a holy bath after waking up early.



It is important that we wear yellow clothes before we start puja rituals. Yellow is the most auspicious colour for Bagalamukhi Jayanti.



Then, we have to place a yantra or an idol of Bagalamukhi Devi on a wooden plank. Then, Goddess should be covered using clothes that are yellow in colour.



Thirdly. by using pure ghee or desi ghee, we can light a diyas in front of Bagalamukhi Mata. After that, we can offer yellow garlands, flowers and yellow sweets to the Goddess.



Durga mantras should be recited to attain the divine grace of the Devi.



It is also recommended to visit Bagalamukhi shrines in order to attain Bagalamukhi Mata’s blessings.
